These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of meredevie.com (the “Site”), including the Mère De Vie Movement Studio, Journal, memberships, courses, movement practices, videos, digital content, Boutique, products, programs, and other services made available through the Site (collectively, the “Services”).
Mère De Vie™ (“Mère De Vie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a DBA of Elements Of G, LLC, a California limited liability company.
By accessing or using the Site, creating an account, purchasing a product or Service, or enrolling in a membership, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and any additional terms presented in connection with a particular purchase or Service.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or Services.
1. About Mère De Vie
Mère De Vie is a movement, wellness, lifestyle, educational, and motherhood-focused platform.
Our offerings may include:
- The Mère De Vie Movement Studio
- gTonnicks® movement and fitness instruction
- Pregnancy and postpartum movement content
- Strength, balance, flexibility, restorative, and conditioning practices
- Courses and educational programs
- Short and long-form movement videos
- Digital video rentals
- Membership-based content
- Mère De Vie Journal articles
- Wellness and lifestyle information
- The Mère De Vie Boutique
- gBalance Bar products and instruction
- Other products, programs, events, or services
Offerings may change, expand, or be discontinued over time.
2. Eligibility and Adult Use
The Site, memberships, purchases, and online Services are intended for adults who are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a membership, product, digital content, or Service through the Site unless a parent or legal guardian makes the purchase or otherwise provides legally valid authorization where applicable.
Certain Mère De Vie content may relate to babies, children, mothers, or families. Such content does not mean that the Site’s commercial accounts, memberships, or purchasing functions are directed toward children.
3. Important Health, Fitness and Medical Notice
Mère De Vie provides fitness, movement, wellness, lifestyle, and educational information.
Mère De Vie is not a medical provider, hospital, medical clinic, physical-therapy practice, or emergency healthcare service.
Content available through Mère De Vie is provided for general educational and fitness purposes and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage any disease, injury, medical condition, pregnancy complication, or other health condition.
Nothing on the Site should be interpreted as individualized medical advice or as a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, or guidance from a qualified healthcare professional.
Pregnancy and Postpartum Participation
Pregnancy and postpartum recovery differ substantially from person to person.
If you are pregnant, recently gave birth, are recovering from childbirth, have undergone surgery, have a medical condition or injury, or have concerns regarding your ability to exercise, you should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before beginning or resuming an exercise program.
A healthcare professional’s general authorization to exercise does not guarantee that every Mère De Vie movement, exercise, program, intensity, or progression is appropriate for your individual circumstances.
You are responsible for modifying, stopping, or declining any movement that does not feel appropriate for you.
Stop Exercise When Appropriate
You should stop exercising and seek appropriate medical attention if you experience symptoms that concern you, including significant pain, faintness, unusual dizziness, difficulty breathing beyond normal exertion, or other symptoms suggesting that continued exercise may be unsafe.
In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency medical service.

4. Assumption of Risk
Physical exercise and movement involve inherent risks.
These risks may include, among other things:
- Muscle soreness
- Strains or sprains
- Falls
- Loss of balance
- Aggravation of an existing condition
- Injury from equipment
- Cardiovascular stress
- Other physical injury
By voluntarily participating in Mère De Vie movement or fitness activities, you acknowledge that physical activity carries inherent risks and that individual physical condition, environment, technique, equipment, pregnancy status, postpartum recovery, and other circumstances can affect those risks.
You are responsible for determining whether your exercise environment is safe and whether you have adequate space, footwear, equipment, and physical readiness to perform an activity.
Nothing in these Terms waives rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable law.
5. The gTonnicks® Method
Certain Mère De Vie movement instruction incorporates or is based upon the gTonnicks® Method, including principles, techniques, terminology, movement sequences, instructional systems, and concepts developed by its creator.
The gTonnicks Method may include concepts such as the Intentional and Purposeful Contraction of the Muscles (“IPCM”), movement practices, instructional progressions, the gBalance Bar, and other proprietary techniques or terminology.
Mère De Vie makes these materials available for your personal education and practice only, unless we provide separate written authorization.
Access to a membership, course, video, or program does not grant permission to teach, certify others in, commercially reproduce, distribute, license, sell, or create competing instructional materials based upon proprietary gTonnicks materials.
6. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its original content are owned by or licensed to Elements Of G, LLC and/or the applicable rights holder.
Protected material may include:
- Mère De Vie™ branding
- gTonnicks® branding
- The gTonnicks Method
- IPCM instructional material
- gBalance Bar materials
- Videos
- Photography
- Graphics
- Written articles
- Journal content
- Course materials
- Movement sequences and instructional presentations
- Audio
- Website design
- Logos
- Product designs
- Educational materials
- Text and copy
- Other original content
Such materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, trade-dress, unfair-competition, and other intellectual-property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by us in writing, you may not reproduce, republish, sell, redistribute, publicly display, commercially exploit, modify, scrape, systematically download, or create unauthorized derivative works from protected Mère De Vie or gTonnicks content.
You may use materials made available to you through the Services for your own lawful, personal, non-commercial use.
7. Accounts and Account Security
Certain Services require an account.
You agree to provide accurate and reasonably current information when registering.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, and account credentials.
Your account is intended for your individual use unless we expressly state otherwise.
You may not:
- Share login credentials with unauthorized users
- Sell or transfer your account
- Permit multiple individuals to use a single individual membership to avoid applicable membership fees
- Circumvent access restrictions
- Attempt to access protected material for which you have not obtained authorization
Please contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably determine that an account is being used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in material violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
8. Memberships
Mère De Vie may offer monthly, annual, promotional, complimentary, or other membership options.
The particular benefits, pricing, billing frequency, and access associated with a membership will be described on the applicable membership or checkout page.
Membership benefits may include access to some or all of the Movement Studio, courses, programs, practices, member pricing, products, or other benefits identified in the applicable membership offering.
Membership benefits may evolve as Mère De Vie develops, provided that we will comply with applicable law and any binding commitments concerning paid membership periods.
9. Automatic Renewal and Recurring Billing
If you purchase a membership or subscription designated as automatically renewing, your selected payment method may be charged at the stated recurring interval until you cancel the automatic renewal, subject to applicable law.
Before enrollment, we will present applicable material automatic-renewal terms, including pricing and billing frequency, and obtain any affirmative consent required by law.
By affirmatively enrolling in an automatically renewing membership, you authorize recurring charges according to the terms disclosed at checkout until the automatic renewal is canceled.
Cancellation
You may cancel an automatically renewing membership using the cancellation method made available through your account or another cancellation method we provide.
Where you enrolled online, Mère De Vie will provide an online method of cancellation as required by applicable law.
Cancellation stops future automatic renewals. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, cancellation generally does not terminate access for a membership period that has already been paid for; access may continue through the end of that paid period.
Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for charges already properly incurred.
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund & Returns Policy and applicable law.
We will provide renewal, annual, pricing-change, and other notices where required by applicable law.
10. Membership Price Changes
We may change membership pricing from time to time.
A price change will not retroactively alter a completed charge.
For automatically renewing memberships, we will provide any advance notice and obtain any consent required by applicable law before a new price becomes effective.
If you do not wish to continue under a new price, you may cancel your renewal before the applicable new charge occurs.
11. Digital Content, Courses and Video Rentals
Mère De Vie may sell or provide access to:
- Individual movement videos
- Limited-duration rentals
- Courses
- Programs
- Educational material
- Membership content
- Other digital products
Purchasing digital content gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the purchased material according to the terms of the particular offering.
You do not acquire ownership of the underlying video, course, intellectual property, or instructional material.
Rentals
A rental may provide access only for the duration disclosed when purchased.
Once the rental period expires, access may automatically end.
Digital Refunds
Because digital content can be delivered immediately, digital purchases are generally non-refundable after access has been provided, except where otherwise stated in our Refund & Returns Policy or required by law.
12. Mère De Vie Journal
Mère De Vie Journal provides educational, editorial, movement, wellness, lifestyle, motherhood, and related content.
Journal articles are informational and should not be treated as individualized medical, legal, nutritional, psychological, or other licensed professional advice.
Certain Journal content may require an email address to continue reading.
Submitting an email address through a Journal access form may also enroll you in Mère De Vie communications as disclosed with the form and in our Privacy Policy.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in our emails.
13. Boutique and Physical Products
Physical products purchased through the Mère De Vie Boutique may be manufactured, sourced, fulfilled, or shipped by third-party partners.
These may include print-on-demand providers such as Printful and independent suppliers available through Spocket.
Product availability, colors, dimensions, appearance, production time, packaging, and shipping times may vary.
We make reasonable efforts to present products accurately, but screen displays, manufacturing processes, supplier information, and other factors can result in minor variations.
Returns, exchanges, damaged merchandise, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy.
14. gBalance Bar
The gBalance Bar (“gBB”) is a movement and fitness tool and should be used according to applicable instructions.
Users are responsible for:
- Inspecting the product before use
- Ensuring components are properly assembled where applicable
- Maintaining adequate exercise space
- Using the product only for appropriate movement activities
- Discontinuing use if the product appears damaged
- Avoiding use in a manner inconsistent with provided instructions
No exercise tool can eliminate the inherent risks associated with physical activity.
The gBalance Bar should not be treated as a medical device, mobility aid, fall-prevention device, or substitute for medical or rehabilitation equipment unless expressly represented otherwise.
15. Orders and Payments
Prices displayed on the Site are generally stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, or other disclosed charges may be added during checkout.
You agree to provide accurate billing, shipping, and payment information.
We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary because of:
- Pricing or listing errors
- Suspected fraud
- Payment failure
- Product unavailability
- Supplier or fulfillment problems
- Legal or regulatory restrictions
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected and no product or service will be provided, we will issue an appropriate refund.
16. Third-Party Services
The Site may use or integrate third-party platforms for hosting, payments, membership administration, video delivery, email communications, e-commerce, fulfillment, analytics, or other functionality.
Use of certain third-party features may also be subject to that provider’s applicable terms and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for the content or independent practices of third-party websites that you choose to visit through external links.
17. Testimonials and Results
Mère De Vie may display testimonials, experiences, photographs, stories, or results from clients, members, participants, or other individuals.
Testimonials describe individual experiences.
They are not guarantees that you will achieve the same or similar results.
Fitness, movement, appearance, strength, body composition, wellness, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and other outcomes vary substantially among individuals and depend upon numerous factors.
18. No Guarantee of Results
Mère De Vie does not guarantee any particular:
- Weight loss
- Body shape
- Muscle development
- Fitness level
- Pregnancy outcome
- Postpartum recovery
- Pain reduction
- Medical outcome
- Athletic performance
- Wellness result
The effectiveness and appropriateness of any movement practice depend on individual circumstances and participation.
19. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site or Services to:
- Violate applicable law
- Infringe intellectual-property rights
- Gain unauthorized access to accounts or protected content
- Interfere with Site security
- Introduce malicious code
- Scrape or systematically extract protected content without authorization
- Copy or redistribute paid videos or course material
- Harass or harm other users
- Impersonate another person
- Commit fraud
- Use the Services in a manner that materially disrupts their operation
We reserve the right to take reasonable measures to protect the Site and Services against misuse.
20. Availability and Changes to the Site
We work to keep Mère De Vie available and functional, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Access may occasionally be interrupted because of:
- Maintenance
- Hosting issues
- Software updates
- Security measures
- Third-party service outages
- Internet disruptions
- Events outside our reasonable control
We may update, modify, reorganize, or discontinue Site features and content as the platform develops, subject to applicable law and obligations concerning paid services.
21. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not warrant that the Site will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or compatible with every device or system.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elements Of G, LLC, Mère De Vie, and their respective owners, personnel, representatives, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Site or Services.
This limitation is not intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected where applicable.
23. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Elements Of G, LLC and Mère De Vie from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Site, infringement of another person’s rights, or material violation of these Terms.
This provision does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
24. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference where legally appropriate.
25. Refunds and Returns
Purchases are also subject to our Refund & Returns Policy.
That policy explains our procedures for:
- Physical-product returns
- Print-on-demand merchandise
- Supplier-fulfilled merchandise
- Damaged or incorrect products
- Digital content
- Membership payments
- Refunds
Where consumer law provides rights that cannot be waived, applicable law controls.
26. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of protections that cannot lawfully be waived under the laws applicable to that consumer.
27. Disputes
We encourage you to contact Mère De Vie first if a dispute or concern arises so that we have an opportunity to resolve the matter directly.

These Terms do not presently require mandatory arbitration or waive a consumer’s right to participate in a class action.
28. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically as our Services, technologies, or legal requirements change.
The current version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
If a material change affects an existing paid subscription or requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide such notice or obtain consent as required.
Continued use of the Site after an update does not waive any notice or consent requirement imposed by applicable law.
29. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
30. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Returns Policy, and any additional terms expressly presented for a particular purchase, membership, program, or Service, constitute the applicable agreement concerning your use of those Services.
If product-specific or membership-specific terms conflict with these general Terms, the more specific terms will control for that particular offering to the extent permitted by law.
